So Mike Vick's finally back in the NFL. Although, i would rather have him on another team i am happy for dude regardless just for the fact that he's officially back playing in this league.. & besides, for someone who was in jail for 2 years, being a "back up" i feel actually would be a great role for Vick, for now. lol With the 2-year offer in which he signed, he could really use this year or 2 to shake off the rust before EVENTUALLY being traded or signed to another team in which desperately DOES need a full-time Quarterback.

I wish him the nothing but success in this comeback attempt, & hope all of the haters would just hushh.. accept that he did his time & paid a hefty price for what he did.. and just let him play football again.

FINALLY got my G-shock(dw69250e) watch

So last week i finally copped myself an ill-ass G-shock watch. This was something that i wanted for awhile, not necessarily for fashion but for work/school. I was actually intending to just pick-up a basic, "reasonable colored" classic dw6900 model, something that i can rock on an almost-everyday basis. Well, after traveling to 3 malls in 2 days i so happened to have struck gold, finding the dw6900 model from the exclusive "Glorious Gold" collection, which actually celebrates G-shock's 25th anniversery. lucky me lol. and this was at the one mall out of the 3 in which i would leeeast expect to find something like this at. lol

it's funny that although i paid the retail price for this watch of $110, later on in the evening when i got home i had peeped Ebay & they were goin for $350 minimum. lol daamn.

Powerhouse '09 is THIS Saturday. After attending last year's memorable, impressive Powerhouse event i must say, this year's roster looks like TRASH. I'm very dissapointed in Power 106 for recruiting these artists other than the "OBVIOUS" of course.. the headliner: the God mc, HOV, Jay-z.. helloo? lol and Kid Cudi should be nice as well, but thas about it.. ughhh.

Sole Collector: Air Yeezy edition

Sole Collector’s Issue 29 will feature the Nike Air Yeezy on the cover and as the focal point of this latest edition of the magazine. This cover features the unreleased pair that Kanye used to debut the Yeezy at the 50^th Annual Grammy Awards last year.

After winning Grammy awards for his music, Kanye West quickly transitioned into the footwear design world with the successful releases of his Nike Air Yeezy and Louis Vuitton collection. According to MediaTakeout, Kanye has his sights set on designing a sneaker with the Jordan Brand. Rumor has it that "Kanye is negotiating to design a limited edition pair of Nike Air Jordan's" and "negotiations are still early, but that both sides are excited about working out a deal".

If this IS true, it'd be pretty intresting. Just another "everyday big move" for mr. yeezy. lol

Jay-Z posted the above image.. a cornucopia of white-painted instruments on his official Website today, which implies he’ll be using the graphic of "celebrating live instrumentals" as the cover of his eagerly anticipated The Blueprint 3. The cover echoes BP3’s aesthetic, Jay’s reliance on live instruments, he brought a 10-piece band with him for many of his recent tours/concerts over the past few years including in his All Points West performance, as opposed to studio trickery, which Jigga officially declared “D.O.A” with his first BP3 single.

Jay-z rips New Jerseys "All Points West Festival"

This past weekend Jay-z headlined & performed at the highly anticipated "All Points West Festival" in New Jersey. Originally the Beastie Boy's were supposed to be the headliners but with the tragic, breaking news of one of the members being diagnosed with cancer, they had pulled out & that led to Jay-z being called in last minute to save the day.. & he did NOT disappoint.

Fans, barefoot in the mud, walked to the stage area early to get their first-come-first-serve front row position of the stage area at least an hour before show time. As the crowd grew larger, the contagious anticipation flooded the area wondering how the weather would affect Hov's performance.

With luck, the sky parted and the stars appeared above the crowd when a timer on the jumbotron counted down til showtime.

In this issue of Dime mag, they feature an interesting article on the "Top 50 sneaker stores in the world" & "Top Consignment sneaker shops in the world." I've actually been waiting for coverage on something like this, with me of course being somewhat a "shoe-head" myself. lol

I think they did a great job on this because all the local stores that i am personally aware of, had received the attention & rankings they well deserved.
