AJ1 "hare's" mid

Borrowing design cues from the classic Hare VII, the Hare Air Jordan Retro 1 Mid features a Grey nubuck and White leather upper with Red accents. The Hare Retro 1 also features the Hare VII's multicolored zig-zag hit on the tongue and it's actually made of the the same material as the inner part of the Air Jordan VII. The tongue also features a silhouette of buggs-bunny doing the Jumpman Dunk over the word "HARE" and the heel has a "HARE" hit as well.

The Hare Air Jordan Retro 1 is set to officially release on April 11th.

I really can't even hate on these. Compared to most of the garbage AJ's been droppin' lately these are actually pretty yummy. lol i'd cop.

Is Cleveland unbeatable? Is Mo Williams really all it took? The fact that the Cavs are distancing themselves from Boston and Orlando is making many believe Cleveland -- and not the Lakers -- are now the odds-on favorites to win it all. The Cavs have a four-game lead over Boston and one-game lead over the Lakers (for best overall record); if that lead increases before April 19, all other teams simply become.. underdogs.

I think the Cavs ARE the strongest team in the L, and once playoffs roll around in a few weeks they'll only get stronger, whether they get Ben Wallace back or not.

So this past weekend i went out & caught a movie, a newly released comedy titled "I Love You Man" starring Paul Rudd from "40yr old Virgin" & "Role Models," and Jason Segal from "Forgetting Sarah Marshall.." I was honestly really excited & actually looking forward to seeing this because these rated-R, dirty-joke, adult-humored comedies are my FAVORITE type of movie genres to watch. I just simply like laughing my ass off over "dirty, nasty, inappropriate" themed material lol, especially with the type of stuff that's being released nowadays.

The story is about Peter Klaven(Rudd), a successful real estate agent who, upon getting engaged to the woman of his dreams, Zooey, discovers, to his dismay, that he has no male friend close enough to serve as his Best Man. Peter immediately sets out to rectify the situation, embarking on a series of bizarre and awkward "man-dates," before meeting Sydney Fife(Segal), a charming, opinionated man with whom he instantly bonds. But the closer the two men get, the more Peter's relationship with Zooey suffers, ultimately forcing him to choose between his fiancee and his new found "bro," in a story that comically explores what it truly means to be a "friend."

Overall, i was really impressed with this movie. it had a lot of laughs, far from corny, and kept me interested throughout the entire movie. I would say that this is the first good comedy of 2009, and probably the first since "Role Models" or "Zach & Miri make a Porno." Go watch it, it's worth the ticket.

Family Guy x 'yeezy special

The new spinoff show will feature Cleveland Brown from "Family Guy" as the main character. Kanye West is scheduled to guest star as the voice of a failed rapper, Kenny West.

hmm.. this should be an interesting episode. lol stay tuned..

Last night, one of my favorite boxers of all time, the 40yr old "past his prime" Roy Jones Jr. defeated 32yr old Omar Sheika to win the vacant North American Boxing Organization's light heavyweight title.

After that embarrassing Calzaghe beatdown Roy took in New York a few months back, it's good know that Roy still had some fight left in the tank. Jones's took out Sheika in 5 lopsided rounds, and had plently of highlights in it reminiscent of his old, great, flashy, cocky self. i loved EVERY second of it. lol

ipod shuffle 09

Apple will soon be releasing a new version of there ipod shuffle. This model features an updated slimmer, "usb, memory stick" resembling shape(half the size of previous), which is supposedly a bit more convenient, and a larger memory capacity of an impressive 4g's(='s 1000 songs) will now be available. The most interesting new feature added to this shuffle model is a very helpful "voice over" feature which with the press of a button, the title of the song and name of the artist will be spoken aloud. Overall, with the new upgraded features & slimdowned size, i'm impressed.. i can see it selling real well as soon as it drops.

Drake: So Far Gone..

Just around 2 weeks ago Rapper/Singer Drake "drizzy" Rogers released an impressive, very well put together "mixtape" album called "So Far Gone.." This is a Follow-up to last year's "Comeback Season" mixtape-album which i personally was amazed by, & was what initially sold me on him as an artist w/ standout individuality and great potential. "So Far Gone.." consists of 17 tracks +1 bonus track("Congratulations") with features of Trey Songz, Bun B, Santogold and of course Lil Wayne who just recently co-signed Drake to his Young Money label.

I've been following & bumpin Drake longer than about 80-90% of ya'll.. going back to around October of 2007, and every track he's dropped or have been featured on since then is simply FIRE, nothing less. Drizzy lays verses that go harder than most of today's rappers, & as a bonus.. dude SINGS too. think of Drake as a "Cleaned up, Understandable" version of Lil Wayne mixed with Trey Songz and a lil bitta' Robin Thicke.. & that's word.

In my opinion, by "MIXTAPE" standards.. "So Far Gone" is a Classic, and is every bit as good as his last lp Comeback Season if not BETTER. Standout tracks include: Successful, Congratulations, Best i ever had, Houstatlantavegas, Uptown, Unstoppable, November 18th, Say What's Real & Brand New. Everything else remains as "listenable," & nothing short of aaite. lol

LEVI'S 501 Spring 09 graphic collection

Despite being created many years ago, the original Levi’s 501 button-fly is still very much relevant and popular in the modern era. OG Levi's 501s are the ONLY jeans i've personally been wearing for almost the past 3 years now.. nothing else. Seeing various different twists to the classic style alongside the traditional Levi’s Vintage Collection, Levi’s offers a somewhat contemporary update to the 501 with this Graphic series collection. Available this month, four different styles inspired by the colors and sights of 80’s video games each feature a different printed weft which is revealed when the denim is cuffed. I think these designs are pretty fly, & i'd definitely look into a pair for myself. Retail is $98 at certain Levi's retailers.

Quest crew crowned

After an exciting, competitive season of America's Best Dance Crew.. Season 3's ABDC champions are the QUEST crew. They earned it after being the only team that stayed consistent and actually got better towards the last few shows. For most of the latter part of the season i was actually convinced that the all-female crew "Beat freaks" were going to take it after that amaaazing performance with the "magic ball" and the robotic themed "puttin on the shades while headspinning" routine. It all came down to the final performance, in which i felt the"Beat freaks" had flopped and the QUEST crew had put on a memorable performance which locked them into the top spot as instant favorites. In my opinion.. YES, them dudes definitely deserved it.

For those of you that were lucky enough to hit up the Glow in the Dark tour last year, these were the kicks that 'ye rocked throughout all the shows. I personally think these are quite unique yet ILL at the same time.. definitely a style of Nike's that NOT everyone can pull off. I like 'em tho.. can't wait till they drop so we can see how they do.

Last night NBA's elite superstars in LeBron James & Dwayne Wade went head to head in Miami. These 2 cats are looked at by most basketball fans or sport's fans in general as the BEST players/athletes in the League or even the world today. 'Bron & D-wade are fellow Gold medal teammates from these past Olympics in Beijing and are also the head of the 2003 draft class that feature numerous current successful players such as Carmelo Anthony & Chris Bosh.

In past meetings since they've entered the NBA they've both won 9 games against each other and averaged nearly 30pts, 7-8dimes & a handful of highlights every time they meet.
