Celebrating the launch of Takashi Murakami’s Multicolor Spring Palette with Louis Vuitton, honeyee works up a special feature following his new animated project entitled "Superflat First Love." Although the feature is in Japanese, the artwork involved can definitely be appreciated.


Takashi Murakami has re-designed the interior of Louis Vuitton’s Omotesando Chapter store. The interior takes on the life of Murakami’s creations with a kaleidoscope of colors, images and plush characters. The new design coincides with the release of their Multicolor Spring Pallet collaborative product and should remain in tact for sometime.

Nike Air Trainer x Manny Pacquiao

Boxing sensation and Filipino prodigal son, my ngga Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao and Nike have come together to design the Manny Pacquiao x Nike Air Trainer. The Air Trainer sneaker itself combines characteristics from the Air Trainer 1, the Zoom Trainer, the Lunar Trainer, and the Sparq Trainer with a Flywire upper and Free outsole. The sneaker features a Red, Gold, and White colorway with Manny's logo at the heel.

200 pairs of the sneaker were created. Manny is getting half and the other half will be broken up between UNDFTD, Fatlace, Niketown SF and Niketown Las Vegas. Release date is May 2nd.

The chunky soled trail runner has seen numerous renditions over the years as the upcoming release features a glossy upper over three different colors including gunmetal, gold and silver. Each style includes a gradient midsole and perforated upper. A military theme is brought full-circle thanks to a camo liner and set of matching t-shirts. The shoes are set for a drop on April 29th at Undefeated Japan Stores.

At select Ralph Lauren flaghsip shops in Japan, they’re set to launch a special “Create Your Own” customized polo scheme. The ability to tailor-make a style to your liking includes choosing appropriate flags and Polo logo colors among other facets of design. Sizes cover all spectrums from men’s and women’s as well as children sizes. The project takes place between April 23rd and May 17th.

i like this idea, especially since Ralph Lauren Polo happen's to be one of my favorite, if not my favorite casual dress brands.

The-Dream: Love vs. Money

Terius “The-Dream” Nash is not doing anything new, meaning—he’s just sampled the best parts of the old. He’s lifted R. Kelly’s swaggering sensuality and blunt lyricism. He’s scooped Bobby Brown’s affected purr. He’s borrowed Prince’s swooping LinnDrum sound. He’s even jacked the city of Atlanta’s riotous “Ay!” chant and made it an integral part of his songwriting. Since he announced himself a major songwriter with Britney Spears’ 2003 “Me Against The Music” which found the pop star slithering through lines like “The sweat is dripping all over my face.” The-Dream has been able to take those influences and manufacture something immediate and visceral, for stars like Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, J. Holiday and also for himself. On his wonderful debut, 2007’s Love/Hate album, those influences were writ large across 12 songs. On Love vs. Money, despite the R. Kelly shout-out, he is a stronger, less tentative performer.

I've been a big fan of The-Dream for a minute now.. ever since i picked up his 1st album, "Love/Hate" popped it in, & kept it on repeat for months. lol(which dropped a little over a year ago) That album i thought was AMAZING, a whole new sound of R&B i've never heard before which featured all kinds of hits such as "shawty is 10," "falsetto," "i luv your girl," "playin in her hair" & much more. That album was basically a CLASSIC compared to today's standards of a modern R&B album. Unfortunately, after all the praise this new "love vs. money" album is getting from fans & even the critics, i honestly don't think it even compares to his debut lp. Don't get it twisted tho, it is a pretty good album. I just felt he played this one safe & kept the same formula from "Love/Hate" to make sure he avoids the infamous "sophomore slump" which he does. lol

standout tracks: Rockin that shit, walkin on the moon, my love, put it down, take u home 2 my mama, right side of my brain, & Mr. Yeah..

FINALLY.. we're here. Yes, it's THAT time of year again. After last year's impressive & exciting playoff battles everybody was just waiting for this year's to roll around & it starts TODAY. In this 1st round, the matches that interest me & i'll fursure be keeping an eye on are: HORNETS vs NUGGETS, LAKERS vs. JAZZ, HEAT vs. HAWKS, & CAVS vs. PISTONS. Everything else can wait for Sportscenter. lol

my predictions:
western conference finals - LAKERS vs. HORNETS(freals tho lol) = LAKERS in 6
eastern conference finals - CAVS vs. MAGIC(CELTICS if KG returns) = CAVS in 5

The name Kobe Bryant is so synonymous with the Los Angeles Lakers that it's real easy to forget that KB24 was actually drafted by the Charlotte Hornets in 1996. Kobe's draft rights were signed over to LA in exchange for Vlade Divac, and the rest, is history. To commemorate this vital piece of NBA history, Nike is set to release a Charlotte Hornets colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV. The Draft Day Nike Zoom Kobe IV features a White upper with Teal and Purple accents. The day of the draft "6.11.96" is also emblazoned on the heel tab and on the footbed. A release date for the Draft Day Charlotte Hornets Nike Zoom Kobe IV has not been confirmed.

John Madden retires

NEW YORK (AP)—John Madden’s last game as a football announcer was a thrilling Super Bowl decided in the final seconds.

The perfect ending to a run as one of sports’ most popular broadcasters, now that Madden called it a career Thursday. Yet it didn’t fit Madden’s style to think about his retirement that way.

“I’m a grinder,” he said on his Bay Area radio show. “You just grind and get through it and when it’s all over, you think about it. You don’t rush into any decisions.”

Madden’s exuberance for football and blue-collar persona endeared him to TV viewers for three decades. Boom! As sudden as his signature call, he’s leaving midway through a six-year contract with NBC’s “Sunday Night Football.”

“I think his work ethic and passion and love for the game made him apart from everybody else,” said longtime broadcast partner Pat Summerall.

Madden said his health is fine, but at the age of 73, he wanted to spend more time with his family. His 50th wedding anniversary is this fall, and his five grandchildren are old enough to notice when he’s gone.
